A collision between a motorcycle and a deer on Hwy. 102 this morning has claimed the life of a 60-year-old man from West St. Andrews in Colchester County.
The collision occurred at 7:34 a.m. near the Exit 13a ramp in the northbound lanes. The man was deceased at the scene.
Hwy. 102 is closed at Exit 12 northbound and traffic is being re-routed. An RCMP Traffic Analyst has been called to examine the scene for evidence. The highway will be closed for several hours and will re-open later this afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
