The fatal shooting that occurred last night in Halifax has been ruled a homicide and the victim has been identified as 58-year-old Terrence Patrick Izzard of Halifax.
On November 14 at 11:07 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of shots fired on Cragg Avenue. Officers responded to the area and upon arrival located Terrence suffering from life-threatening injuries. EHS transported him to the QEII Health Sciences Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
The autopsy was conducted this afternoon and the Medical Examiner has ruled Terrence’s death a homicide. Our thoughts are with Terrence’s family and loved ones.
The investigation, led by the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, is ongoing. Investigators are making a plea to the community asking anyone with information about this homicide to call 902-490-5020.
