Work details: This is to facilitate temporary winter pothole repairs.
During winter, asphalt plants close and permanent hot-mix asphalt isn’t available. To keep roads safe, crews use temporary cold patch material to fill potholes. This cold patch allows the municipality to stabilize the area until warmer temperatures return, and permanent repairs can be made in spring.
Traffic impact: There will be rolling sections of stop-and-go traffic in these areas as work progresses. Repair work on main corridor routes take place outside of peak traffic times. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.
