The feedback and summary report from the public highway twinning consultations is available online at novascotia.ca/twinning.
Nearly 2,000 Nova Scotians took part in 14 public sessions held between Jan. 30 and March 9. One stakeholder session was also held.
In addition, feedback was received from nearly 5,400 people through:
— an online survey
— an open online comment box
— written submissions via mail and email.
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to weigh in on this important issue,” said Geoff MacLellan, Minister, Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal. “This process has provided valuable feedback to the department. Government will be making its decision based on what we heard early next week.”
