Female employee injured during attempted armed robbery in Dartmouth

At approximately 10:37 p.m.  police responded to a business located in the 300 block of Windmill Road in Dartmouth to the report of an attempted robbery.

A female employee was locking up the business when she was approached by two males, one of whom was brandishing a firearm. The female was assaulted by the suspects who then fled from the area when the female cried out for help.

The female was transported to the QEII where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are described as follows: Suspect 1 – White male approximately 6’ tall wearing a plastic mask and wearing black pants and a black hoody. Suspect 2 – White male 6’ wearing a black hoody.

The investigation is in the early stages and is the matter is being investigated by members of the General Investigative Section.
