At approximately 5:15 PM HRP Officers responded to a fire call at the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal. HRM Fire had been dispatched to that location to extinguish a wooden playground boat that appeared to have been deliberately set alight causing extensive damage. Information had been received from several witnesses that a group of youths were seen fleeing from the area – 4 males and 1 female, aged 16-17 years. HRP officers searched the area and quickly located a group of youths fitting the description provided by witnesses – they have been questioned and released at this time.
