Fire marshal investigating after three fishing boats burn

On January 25, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Yarmouth Rural RCMP and fire services responded to a report of a fire at the Pembroke Wharf on Chegoggin Point Rd.

Upon arrival at the scene, RCMP officers learned that three fishing boats, which were tied together at the dock, were fully engulfed in flames.

RCMP officers have spoken with a witness and the fire marshal will be attending the scene later today.

At this time, the fire is not believed to be suspicious. The investigation is ongoing.
