Fire On Three Fathom Harbour Road

Halifax Fire crews were called out at 8:26 pm Sunday evening for a building that was on fire on Three Fathom Harbour Rd. Crews from six stations, Cole Harbour to Musquodoboit Harbour, responded to the blaze.

Upon arrival they found that the structure was fully involved and quickly set up a water shuttling system involving several tanker trucks and a hydrant close by. Fire crews quickly noticed that there were power lines going into the building that were damaged and required Nova Scotia Power crews to attend and disconnect the power to ensure firefighters safety.

At the time the fire crews arrived, there were no occupants in the building and there were no injuries reported.

At the time of this report, the cause is unknown and Chief Justason was unable to say if the blaze was suspicious in nature until fire investigators complete their investigation, but was able to confirm that the building was a total loss.
