Firearm stolen after break and enter

Police are investigating a break and enter where a firearm was stolen that occurred in Halifax.

At approximately 3 a.m. on May 18 police received a report of break and enter that had just occurred. A man reported that he heard someone breaking into his garage on Randolph Street in Halifax. The man discovered that a handgun and its case were missing from the garage. The firearm was legally owned and stored.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.
