Firearm used during robbery, suspects arrested in nearby neighborhood

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth earlier today.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. police responded to a robbery in the 600 block of Windmill Road in Dartmouth. Two suspects approached the victim, who was sitting in his vehicle; produced a firearm and demanded his property. The suspects fled in a vehicle; the victim was not physically injured.

Patrol officers located the suspect’s vehicle shortly after in the 0-100 block of Courtney Road in Dartmouth. Police cordoned the area and arrested a man and a woman inside a residence without incident. Police have since cleared the area and re-opened the roads to traffic.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020.
