Firearms, crossbow stolen from home

Pictou County District RCMP is investigating a break-in to a home on Three Brooks Rd. in Three Brooks that resulted in the theft of firearms.

On March 3, at approximately 10:35 a.m., police responded to a report of a break-in at a home on Three Brooks Rd. in Three Brooks. Police learned that during the break-in, 10 firearms were stolen, including a revolver, a pistol, shotguns and a rile. A crossbow was also stolen. Police have identified a black sedan as being involved in the break-in.

The investigation is ongoing and is being assisted by RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

Anyone with video surveillance on their property, or who observed a black sedan on Three Brooks Rd. between 5:30-7:30 a.m. on March 3, is asked to contact Pictou County District RCMP at 902-755-4141.
