Firearms stolen, recovered in break and enter in Halifax

On June 21st at 5:40pm, police responded to a report of a break and enter into a residence in the 6300 block of London Street in Hal­ifax. During the cou­rse of the investiga­tion it was learned that a number of long barreled firearms were stolen from the residence after the suspect forced open a gun safe. Shortly before 9pm officers located the suspect in the incident and upon arrest, recove­red the 4 firearms that were stolen from the residence. As a result of this inve­stigation, an adult male will be appeari­ng in Halifax Provin­cial Court later tod­ay on charges related to this break and enter.
