First Meeting of Prospect Road Craft Crawl

craft_crawl09_squareThe first meeting of the 2010 Prospect Road Craft Crawl members was recently held at the new Prospect Road Community Centre.

The opening of this Centre now provides an opportunity to change the format and grow this community icon. Over the past few years’ attendance has been decreasing; feedback suggests most people would like to see this event under one roof. As it happens we now have a beautiful new Community Centre, which will offer us one location to hold this annual show.

Changing the venue will create new opportunities. The members will be adjusting the format over the summer months, which will see the crawl turning into an annual show open up to crafters & artisans from all over HRM.

The next meeting will be held at the Community Centre on July 12th at 7 p.m. Should you wish to be a member, please feel free to attend this meeting. Being a member gives you the opportunity to offer your input on the design and help plan the new show.

This year’s show date will be October 16th, 2010. There will be spaces available for rent, and names will be posted along with phone numbers you can contact after the final plan is designed to book your space/table.

Hope to see you at our next meeting,
