The Department of Environment is reminding event operators and vendors that they need a temporary food permit for community events where food is served.

The permit is required for food service operations at exhibitions, fairs, festivals, and some other community events.

Applications must be received at least 14 days before the event. Organizers of large events are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible to allow enough time for processing.
