Foul play not suspected in landfill facility investigation

 

April 19, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . The initial police investigation into the death of the deceased male found at the Otter Lake landfill facility indicates foul play is not suspected.
Yesterday morning, an employee working at the Otter Lake landfill facility in Timberlea discovered a deceased adult male in the front-end processor facility.  The Integrated RCMP/HRP Major Crime Unit was called in to investigate.  The autopsy has been completed by the Office of the Medical Examiner.  A 45-year-old male of no fixed address has been identified.  His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
