Found property advisory

At 3:55 p.m., Patrol Officers were dispatched to a found property call at Value Village located at 375 Pleasant Street in Dartmouth in relation to a jacket, which is believed to have been left behind today, on one of the cash register tables near the front of the store. A large sum of money was located in the jacket, however, no identifying information for the owner could be found. Halifax Regional Police is asking the owner of the jacket and money to call 902-490-5016. A description of the jacket and the amount of money are being withheld to better validate ownership claims that may come forward. The rightful owner must be able to describe the jacket as well as the amount and denominations of the money.
