The human remains that were located along a hiking trail near Fox Lake earlier this month have been identified.

 

On May 6, at 11 a.m., a hiker called 911 indicating he had discovered human remains off a newly-created hiking trail near Fox Lake. The Medical Examiner has determined that the remains are of Ray Peter O’Connell.

 

Ray was reported missing in June 2004 when he was 32-years-old. At this time, his death is not being treated as suspicious.
