Four Men Charged for Sexual Assault – Bible Hill

Two Nova Scotia men and two Ontario men have been arrested and charged for a sexual assault that occurred in Colchester County.

On December 18, 2015, Colchester District RCMP commenced an extensive investigation after a 14-year old female reported that she had been sexually assaulted by four adult males at a house party in Bible Hill.

As a result of the investigation, two adult males from Colchester County, ages 21 and 23, were arrested in January. A 27-year-old Sarnia, Ontario man was arrested in that province on March 31, while a 25-year-old Cornwall, Ontario man was arrested in Ottawa on April 12. Both males from Ontario have been transported back to Nova Scotia by the RCMP.  RCMP were assisted by RCMP in Ontario and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Ontario as part of the investigation.

All four men are facing charges of Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. Three of the men, ages 21, 23, and 26, appeared in Truro Provincial Court yesterday.  The next court appearance for all four men is scheduled for May 4, 2016.
