Police have charged eight people with drug trafficking in relation to a search in Halifax earlier last week.
On May 4, investigators in the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search of a residence on Frederick Avenue in Halifax. Investigators seized quantities of cocaine and cash.
Eight people were arrested at the scene without incident. Four men, ages 63, 48, 32 and 20, and four women, ages 41, 39, 36 and 31, are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face one count each of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
