Fourth person arrested in Devon Sinclair Marsman homicide

HRP release:

A fourth person has been arrested in connection with the homicide of Devon Sinclair Marsman.

On Thursday, October 24, at approximately 10:30 p.m., 26-year-old Chelsey Herritt turned herself into police at Halifax Regional Police Headquarters. Herritt was subsequently arrested and charged with:

–Being an accessory after the fact to murder

–Committing indignity to human remains

Chelsey Herritt will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on October 28, 2024 to face charges.

The investigation is ongoing, and investigators have not ruled out the possibility of future arrests.

The human remains that are believed to be Devon Sinclair Marsman’s continue to be with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service for identification. Further updates will be shared when that work is complete.

Investigators believe there are people who have information who have not yet spoken to police. Anyone with information about Devon Sinclair Marsman’s homicide is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
