Vince’s motto is “F*%K CANCER!” We could not agree more with that statement. Vince is one of the sweetest people on the planet. He was recently diagnosed with colon cancer that has metastasized to his liver, to top it off a tumor has perforated his bowel.
This is way more than one person should ever have to face. To show Vince and his family that we care there is a poker run scheduled for the afternoon, followed by a benefit that will blow the roof off Brewsters. It will be an uplifting evening of live music, auction, and 50/50 tickets. Let’s do our best to see what is possible for this well deserving family. Hope to see you all there. Cost of Admission will be $5 at the door (free if you are taking part in the poker run). You will be given a raffle ticket once you pay cover and have a chance to win a great prize. All cover fees contribute to the Sheppard family fundraising efforts.
THE POKER RUN DETAILS
The Poker Run registration is at 10am at Privateers Harley Davidson. Run Leaves at 11:00am on to Peggy’s Cove Souwester Gift & Restaurant, then on to Upper Rawden, and then to Curly’s Portables in Enfield, and completing the 190 km run at Brewsters in Bedford.
1st 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded to the top 3 poker hands from the run, we ask for a $10 donation towards the family, to enter. There will also be a 50/50 draw we can all take part in, Thank you for all your support.
