“Well, that was a baller move.”

Those are the eloquent word I uttered at the conclusion of last night’s episode of Game of Thrones. But that’s what Daenerys is – a baller and a shot caller.

I loved her final scene in this episode.

After one of Dany’s many soldiers/romantic pursuers won a duel for her (by the way, I can’t get over the fact that the guy who won that duel is also on Nashville – on that show, he wooed a much weaker lady with long blond hair.) she made an inspiring speech to the shackled people of whatever settlement she’s now taking over. She is not the enemy – the people standing next to them are. I love Dany’s journey of traveling to places and freeing their slaves, but it can’t go on forever, right? I was glad to hear Tywin mention the threat of a Targaryen girl with dragons – people are starting to hear rumors about the “Breaker of Chains”.

We discovered that Littlefinger had paid Dontos (or was planning to, but killed him instead) and had made the “family heirloom” necklace that was given to Sansa. Was he involved in the poisoning?

Tyrion has been imprisoned for the murder, and he knows that Sansa’s disappearance won’t help his case. Oh, and Jaime raped Cersei in front of her son’s dead body this week, so I guess I can’t root for that guy anymore. Everyone on this show is evil! I hope Arya never changes – she might murder those who have it coming, but she won’t approve of stealing from the innocent.

This episode moved around to a few more places – Sam trying to protect Gilly, Joon Snow trying to figure out how to fight back against Ygritte and the wildlings, etc. – but I won’t cover that stuff this week. If you’ve got comments, share ‘em!
