Garbage/green bin/recyclables collection canceled for Tuesday

Curbside collection of garbage, organics, and recyclables in areas normally scheduled for pickup on Tuesday, Feb. 2, is cancelled due to the impending storm and high winds.

For residents who would normally have collection on Tuesday, collection services have been rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 6.

Residents are asked to not place materials curbside for collection tomorrow.

The Household Special Waste (HSW) depot at 20 Horseshoe Lake Drive is cancelled for Saturday, Feb. 6. More information on the HSW depot schedule can be found at halifax.ca/HSWDepot.
