Update
Officers with the General Investigative Section, East Division Quick Response Unit and East Division Patrol were able to determine the suspect who committed the robbery at the Petro Canada at 610 Portland Street in Dartmouth last evening. They were able to locate the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident. While searching an address they were able to locate an adult female who had assisted in the robbery. She was taken into custody. After further investigation it was determined that the suspect from this robbery had also committed the robberies at Sobeys Fast Fuels located at 543 Portland Street on Oct 10th and the robbery at Needs Convenience Store located at 275 Baker Drive on Oct 11th. A 45 year old female will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today charged with the robbery at Sobeys Fast Fuels and Needs Convenience. A 21 year old male will also be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today charged with three counts of Robbery, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, three counts of breach of undertaking and one count of uttering a death threat.

Shortly after 10PM last evening a suspect entered the Petro Canada gas station located at 610 Portland Street in Dartmouth. He produced a paint scraper and demanded money and cigarettes. He obtained both and fled the business. The area was checked by numerous police units and k-9 with negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9″, slim build wearing a red parka with fur around the hood.
