The Department of Agriculture and Gateway Meat Market, Dartmouth, are warning the public not to eat ground beef and pork products sold at the market on Thursday, July 17, due to the possibility the products may contain metal filings.

Ground beef and ground pork products sold on July 17 prior to 4:30 p.m. are affected by this warning. There have been no reported consumer complaints associated with the consumption of these products.

Food affected by this recall may look to be of good quality, but there may be a physical health risk associated with its consumption.

Gateway Meat Market is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace.
