Nova Scotians will be going to polls for a general provincial election on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Premier Darrell Dexter visited Lt-Gov. J. J. Grant today, Sept. 7, to ask that he dissolve the government and call a general election.
“I encourage all Nova Scotians to exercise their democratic right to vote, so they have a voice in the legislature,” said Premier Dexter.
By law, the campaign must be a minimum of 30 days and the election held on a Tuesday.
