Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who approached a girl on the way home from school.
Police were advised that on March 8 between 3:05 and 3:15 p.m., a 10-year-old girl was walking home from school on Rosedale Avenue in Halifax when a white man grabbed the ten-year-old by the arm and tried to drag her. The girl was able to get away from the man and went to a nearby house for help. The man was last seen running up Rosedale Avenue towards Willett Street.
The man is described as: approximately 5”10” tall, late 20’s wearing all black (black high neck T-shirt, Black hoodie, black sweatpants) black toque with grey stitching and black sport shoes. The man had brown hair hanging out from under his toque. The man also had a flower tattoo on the left side of his neck just under his jawline.
