GO celebrate being Haligonian with FUSION Halifax

David Finlayson is one of the nominees for the Metropolitan award for community service.

GO – Celebrating our city’s momentum, Presented by FUSION Halifax

Our very own David Finlayson, Halifax School Board rep for District 7, has been nominated for the Metropolitan award for community service!

From fire-breathers at the door to a custom Halifax-inspired lounge, we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate the best that our city has to offer. So on Saturday, November 6, gather your friends, head to WTCC and get ready for a night for the books!

With six gourmet food stations to satisfy your inner foodie, award-winning comedy and carnival performers to spark the senses, and live music and DJs to keep you moving until midnight – what’s left to think about? Just GO to the celebration that has it all…

Don’t have a ticket? Here are the top reasons why you should buy your tickets here: www.ticketatlantic.com.

The Host

We’re bringing out the big guns to keep you entertained from start to finish! International Man of Comedy Pardis Parker is sure to keep you laughing as he takes his award-winning stand-up to the main stage at GO. Want a hint of what you’re in for? Check out one of his many bits that have our cheeks hurting. They say laughing works the abs, right? Skip the gym but do not pass on GO. (And do not collect $200).

The Food

From satay to sliders, flambé to crudités, our savoury snacks will feature something for everyone. In fact, with mini cheesecakes, peanut butter lollipops, cake and danishes to finish off the night, the only thing you won’t find at our gala is the typical dry chicken and its rubbery cousin. We’ll also hook you up with drink tickets, a cash bar, and maybe even some bubbly. Get ready to feast well, friends!

The Music

Whether we’re your first stop of the night, or you plan to leave it all on the dance floor, we have the talent and tunes to keep you moving. Live jazz will help you groove into the evening and DJ Mutts will have you shouting “this is my JAM” until midnight. You might want to stretch first…
