Today is Labour Day. The end to a weekend of camping, a summer of camping, when I was a kid. A day of returning home, packing the stiff, new backpack, laying out those pristine, new, back-to-school clothes that have been unworn, waiting for this very occasion. A day of excitement. Nervousness. Anticipation. Anxiety. A new grade. A new year. Restart. Refresh. New opportunities. New perspectives.
I love it. It is like a big breath of fresh air.
Today marks the end of summer, the end of vacation. The beginning of fall. A return to routine. A return home.
Although taken about a week ago, this seemed appropriate for today.
I recently had the luck to run across this, a little gem from my life before kids. It isn’t extensive but it is hilarious and a reminder of what life was like back then. I would so like to incorporate some vlogs into the Mommy Miracles experience, so I’m going to try it out and see if it sticks.
