RCMP were able to return a lost wallet containing a large quantity of cash and other contents to a man thanks to the actions of four good Samaritans.

Yesterday morning at 11:00 a.m., a man was driving along Beaver Bank Road when he saw money scattered on the side of the road. The man, along with three other motorists, stopped and collected the cash and a nearby wallet found with the cash. The man dropped the money off at the Lower Sackville RCMP detachment where an officer attempted to contact the owner of the wallet using identification and contents of the wallet.

The member left a voice-mail, and around 12:30 p.m, a lady called stating her father had lost his wallet.

The wallet was successfully returned to its rightful owner.

The RCMP would like to thank the good Samaritans involved.
