Gottingen Street – Natural Gas Installation

May 16, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that preparation for a natural gas service installation will take place tomorrow on Gottingen Street between Buddy Daye and Cunard streets, and at the intersection of Gottingen and Falkland streets. The work will consist of saw cutting with installation at a later date.

Crews will be on site after 6 p.m., with work being completed in one evening. There will be one lane of traffic open with stop-and-go traffic while work is underway. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.

The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
