Gottingen Street Stabbing

At 11:10 pm last night Halifax Regional Police responded to the 2000 block of Gottingen Street to a report of a male who had been stabbed. Responding officers located a 58-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be a non-life threatening stab wound to his torso. He was transported to hospital for treatment and later released. The victim would not provide investigators with information required to further their investigation. Members searching and canvassing the area discovered blood droplets on the sidewalk in the 2400 block of Gottingen Street and believe this was where the incident occurred. The General Investigative Section is investigating.
