The Nova Scotia government will deliver the 2014-15 budget Thursday, April 3.

“I’m looking forward to providing Nova Scotians with a frank presentation of the state of our fiscal affairs,” said Finance and Treasury Board Minister Diana Whalen.

“This budget will outline more details on how we will follow through on our commitment to provide a healthy, well-educated work force.”

Leading up to this government’s first budget, people across the province have been meeting with Ms. Whalen to discuss the economy, business climate and the provincial budget.

“It’s been my pleasure to meet with Nova Scotians from Sydney to Yarmouth who have a passion for their province and understand the need for change,” said Ms. Whalen. “Going forward I have committed to keep the conversation going year-round so the input from these conversations can actually influence what we put into next years’ budget.”
