Friday, June 19, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Granville Street in Halifax will be closed to traffic over the weekend while crews work on water and sewer pipelines in the area.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, Granville will shut down to vehicles between George Street and Duke Street. The road will remain closed overnight and reopen at about 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 21.
Pedestrians will still be able to access the sidewalks on Granville Street during this closure. Halifax Water and the municipality regret any inconvenience this work or the closure may cause.
