HRM Release:
(Tuesday, September 21, 2010) – Attention motorists, the intersection
of Grosvenor Road and Kearney Lake Road has reopened to vehicle
traffic.
This work has been completed 6 days ahead of the anticipated schedule
of September 27th.
This work was part of the water main sliplining project being
undertaken by Dexter Construction on behalf of Halifax Water.
Water main sliplining work continues on Kearney Lake Road. Motorists
are asked to use alternate routes where possible, to proceed carefully
through the work zone, and are reminded that speed fines double in work
zones. Motorists are also asked to use extreme caution and be very
diligent when driving through the area as it is a busy school zone.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure work
may cause.
