Grow Op Discovered, Two Arrested

Two people face drug charges as a result of a search on Saturday in

Dartmouth.

At approximately 2:20 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP

Integrated Drug Unit and General Investigation Section conducted a

search of a residence on Clement Street. A man and woman were arrested

without incident and officers located a marijuana grow operation in the

residence. Officers seized marijuana, cash, grow equipment and drug

paraphernalia.

A 29-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man each face charges of drug

production and drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. They are

both scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
