The gymbo! Yup, you read that correctly. After a long hiatus (and the fact that it’s too hot & humid to enjoy the outdoors) we decided to get back in to a good gym routine. We’re aiming for 2 days a week and once on the weekend. Shouldn’t be too hard to get back into the swing of things! I got in 40 mins of cardio and 25 mins of strength training. Weights make me feel so strong! I left feeling happy and relaxed.
The good workout made me crave good eats. They two really go hand in hand. Chicken Burger & Salad.
Plus my first local strawberries of the season! Whoot!!! There’s nothing like a fresh, juicy Nova Scotia strawberry.
With a homemade dressing – olive oil, almond butter, sf syrup & a splash of UVAB. FYI – was delish!!
Burger – topped with a smear of light mayo, baby spinach & sliced tomatoes. (So good that I made another for lunch tomorrow!)
We’re just winding down now for the night. Going to catch up on the latest episode of Days and read a page or two from my book. I finished The Bite Of The Mango and am now working my way through Eat Pray Love. This book is different than I expected but I do have to say that I think Julia Roberts is going to be absolutely amazing in the movie!
