Guns and drugs seized during search of homes – Sackville

A 31-year-old man from Sackville is facing several charges after members of the Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit searched a home on Cockburn Dr. in Sackville and a home on Hamilton Dr. in Middle Sackville last evening.

During the searches, a large quantity of cocaine, cutting agent, cash and two handguns with ammunition were seized. The 31-year-old man from Sackville was arrested without incident and was held in custody where he was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.

He is facing charges for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possess Equipment Used in Trafficking and Production of Cocaine, and several Firearm Offences.

The investigation is continuing.
