Guns stolen from home in Lower Sackville

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a break and enter involving a theft of firearms at a home on Tynes Crt. in Lower Sackville.

On March 30, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a home on Tynes Crt. in Lower Sackville. RCMP learned that four non-restricted firearms were taken, including two semi-automatic rifles, one bolt action rifle and one break-action shot gun. Other items including ammunition, a hunting compound bow with arrows, hand tools and power tools were also taken.

RCMP believe that the suspect gained access to the home that morning, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m, through the back door.

The investigation is ongoing and is being lead by the Halifax District RCMP, with assistance from the RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
