Guysborough District RCMP investigate structure fire, Port Bickerton, N.S.

Guysborough District RCMP are investigating a fire that destroyed a cabin on East Side Bickerton Road. On March 8th, 2015 at approximately 10:30 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire.

On March 8th, 2015 at approximately 10:30 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire.

Preliminary investigation determined that the fire occurred sometime within the previous 24 hours. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Guysborough District RCMP and the Provincial Fire Marshal’s office.

Guysborough District RCMP are asking anyone with information related to this incident to call the Sherbrooke Detachment at 902-522-2200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. The RCMP wish to remind residents that calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50-2000.
