Halifax 2011 Canada Games announces entertainment line-up for week two of “Celebration Square at Night” in Halifax, Feb. 22-25

(Halifax, NS) – Halifax 2011 Canada Games, taking place from Feb. 11-27, is proud to  announce the entertainment line-up for week two of “Celebration Square at Night” at Grand Parade in Halifax, Feb. 22-25.  Headliners include: Rawlins Cross, Old Man Luedecke, Buck 65 and Radio Radio.

Special guests for these FREE outdoor shows include: The Divorcees, The Stanfields, Rich Aucoin and Three Sheet.  Beginning at 7 p.m. each evening, the schedule is as follows:

Feb. 22 Rawlins Cross with special guest The Divorcees
Feb. 23 Old Man Luedecke with special guest The Stanfields
Feb. 24 Buck 65 with special guest Rich Aucoin
Feb. 25 Radio Radio with special guest Three Sheet

Feb. 26 City and Colour with special guest Amelia Curran *previously announced

The entertainment schedule previously announced for the first week of “Celebration Square at Night” is as follows:

Feb. 14 The Joel Plaskett Emergency
Feb. 15 Sloan with special guest Grand Derangement
Feb. 16 Hey Rosetta! with special guest The Novaks
Feb. 17 Matt Mays with special guest Christina Martin
Feb. 18 Hawksley Workman with special guest Dutch Robinson
Feb. 19 Great Big Sea with special guest Jeremy Fisher

NewCap Radio nationally, with their stations Q104 and 96.5 KOOL FM in Halifax, are the presenting sponsor of Celebration Square.

Coca-Cola will be sharing happiness as the presenting sponsor of the two Saturday shows.  Alexander Keith’s will be extending Celebration Square into its Keith’s Celebration House which will be located at 1726 Argyle Street.

Halifax 2011 Canada Games will be the largest multi-sport event held in Nova Scotia and Halifax's first Canada Winter Games.

Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Canada Games are a key event in the development of Canada's young athletes, producing the next generation of national, international and Olympic champions.
