Halifax Metro Transit announced new fares for Community Transit buses starting August 30, 2009. The fares for the Beaver Bank, Porter’s Lake, and Sambro routes will be identical to fares on regular transit buses:
- Adults – $2.25
- Children / Seniors – $1.50
With this change, Metro Passes, Metro Link Passes, MetroX Passes and UPass will be accepted at face value on Community Transit.
