Halifax’s cruise season isn’t winding down yet. Nine ships are in port over the Thanksgiving long weekend, and 42 calls are still on the schedule before the last ship of 2026 leaves on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Pearl Mist and Mein Schiff 1 are in today. On Sunday, Le Lyrial, Crystal Symphony, Celebrity Silhouette and Oceania’s Vista are due, followed by Norwegian Jewel, Zuiderdam and Azamara Journey on Monday, according to the Port of Halifax cruise schedule. Together those nine ships carry about 14,200 passengers. Crystal Symphony will anchor in the harbour Sunday, and its passengers will come ashore by tender boat at Pier 24.
The biggest day left is Tuesday, Oct. 20. Independence of the Seas, Norwegian Breakaway and Explora III are scheduled to bring about 9,300 passengers between them. Only two days this season had more: July 7 and yesterday, Oct. 9, when Queen Mary 2 was among three ships in port.

Somewhere in the middle — and that's okay.
The last ship of the year is Majestic Princess, carrying 4,450 passengers. It’s due at Pier 22 at 11 a.m. on Nov. 5 and scheduled to leave at 7 p.m., the same day as Seabourn Ovation.
It has been a busy year. The port’s schedule lists 188 ship visits for 2026, from Viking Polaris on April 7 to Majestic Princess on Nov. 5.
If you’re heading to the waterfront or the Seaport on a ship morning, expect more company. The port notes its schedule can change at any time.
