Halifax District RCMP catch youth for car break-in’s, Cole Harbour, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are investigating a number of thefts from motor vehicles. Early Saturday morning, November 29th, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to reports of suspicious males in the area of Amethyst Court.

Early Saturday morning, November 29th, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to reports of suspicious males in the area of Amethyst Court.

Upon arrival RCMP located and arrested two males dressed in dark clothing and looking inside a vehicle with a flash light, for tress passing at night. During a search of the youth, several of articles of property from electronics to sunglasses were found on them. Both youth were then arrested for theft and taken into police custody.

Two male youths from Cole Harbour, aged 14 and 17, are facing charges of theft under $5,000. The accused have been released from police custody and are to appear in court at a later date. This matter remains under investigation.
