Halifax District RCMP charge two youths with Break and Enter following an investigation at Sackville High School. On October 19th at approximately 12:45 a.m., Lower Sackville RCMP responded to an alarm sounding at Sackville High School on Kingfisher Way.

On October 19th at approximately 12:45 a.m., Lower Sackville RCMP responded to an alarm sounding at Sackville High School on Kingfisher Way.

Preliminary investigation determined culprits smashed out several windows of the school including the windows of an entrance to the complex. Culprits gained entry to the school where they vandalized portions of the building’s interior. The suspects were identified by police through the use of school video surveillance cameras which lead to their arrests on October 29th.

Two Sackville youths, ages 16 and 17, are facing charges of Break and Enter with the indictable offence of Mischief and an additional charge of Mischief over $5,000. The 17-year-old, in addition to the Break and Enter charge, is also charged with Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Break-in Tools and Breaching a Court Order. He remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in youth court today for a bail hearing. The 16-year old was released from police custody on strict conditions and is to appear in youth court on November 27th, 2014.
