Halifax District RCMP are investigating a cut oil line which caused a quantity of furnace oil to spill on the ground.
On Sunday, November 9th, Halifax District RCMP members responded to a complaint of Mischief-property damage on Kata Court in Hammonds Plains.
Preliminary investigation determined person(s) unknown had cut an outside fuel line that carries furnace oil from the exterior tank to the furnace inside the home. RCMP say this crime occurred between late in the afternoon on Thursday, November 6th until just prior to lunch on Sunday, November 9th. A professional Environmental clean-up company will be attending the area to deal with the spill.
