Halifax District RCMP investigate break and enter, Cole Harbour, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are investigating a break and enter into a residence while the owner was home.

Today at 2:27 p.m. Halifax District RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at a home on Shrewsbury Drive in Cole Harbour.

Preliminary investigation determined two men had entered the home and were confronted by the home owner. The owner of the home was not assaulted; however the suspects took items of property from the home upon their departure. RCMP made an immediate patrol to the scene but the men had fled in a vehicle prior to police arriving.

The suspects are males and approximately 20-years old. The driver is reported as being a black male while passenger is a white male. The vehicle was an older model four-door car, brown or dark gold in colour with dark tinted windows. The vehicle had noticeable damage to the driver’s side rear door. They left in the direction of Caldwell Road.
