Halifax District RCMP investigate break-in while owners home, Lake Echo, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are investigating a break and enter into a residence where the owners were home at the time.

Last evening at approximately 11:10 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a break and enter at a home on Mineville Road.

Preliminary investigation determined two men had entered the home and were confronted by the home owners. The owners of the home were not assaulted nor threatened. The suspects did not take anything when they left a short time later. RCMP made an immediate patrol to the scene but the men had fled prior to police arriving.

Both suspects are males and approximately 18 to 20 years old. One man is described as a black male, 6’2′ tall and wearing a black mask and gloves. The second male suspect is described as a black male, 5’5′ tall wearing a white mask and gloves.
