Halifax District RCMP are investigating a collision that occurred between a transport truck and pedestrian.

Yesterday morning at approximately 6:20 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint that a pedestrian was struck by a transport truck while walking along the exit 2 off ramp of HWY 101. A preliminary investigation has determined that the mirror of the tractor trailer struck the victim’s left arm.

The victim, a 63-year-old male from Lower Sackville was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing however charges are not expected.
