Halifax District RCMP investigate robbery with violence, Cole Harbour, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are investigating a robbery with violence that occurred at approximately 1 a.m. this morning near the underpass at Forest Hills Parkway.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a call to the Dartmouth General Hospital where a 25-year-old male was receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained from this incident.

Preliminary investigation determined two white males had walked past the victim and then tackled him from behind taking the victim’s wallet and backpack while assaulting him. The two suspects then fled from the scene on foot toward Circassion Drive. The victim was treated and later released. Police have no further description of the suspects.
